NativeScript ist ein Framework von der Firma Telerik für die Cross-Platform-Entwicklung von mobilen Apps für Android und iOS mit der Programmiersprache JavaScript bzw. TypeScript.[1] Die Nutzeroberfläche der Apps wird mit XML definiert.[2]
Für die Entwicklungsarbeit mit NativeScript wird Node.js als Laufzeitumgebung auf dem Entwickler-PC benötigt.[3]
